Finding feature is compatible with iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, iPhone 11 Pro Max, iPhone 12, iPhone 12 mini, iPhone 12 Pro, and iPhone 12 Pro Max. Apple conducted testing in March 2021 using AirTag pre-production software and devices connected to iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, iPhone 11 Pro Max, iPhone 12 mini, iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Pro, and iPhone 12 Pro Max running pre-production software. Battery life is based on daily device usage with four sound plays and one Precision Finding per day. Battery life varies based on usage, environmental factors, replacement battery manufacturer, and many other factors; actual results will vary. AirTag is water-resistant, dust resistant, and has been laboratory tested under controlled conditions to reach an IP67 rating according to IEC 60529 (water-resistant up to a depth of 1 meter for a maximum of 30 minutes). The water-resistant, dust-resistant, and anti-splash features are not permanent and can change over time.
